Using video to expand the reach of your Facebook Page

It's one of those little, oft forgotten features that can have significant impact over time.  If you load video to your Facebook Page, when someone who has not yet 'Liked' your Page watches that video (perhaps it's shared by someone or seen by a first time visitor), he/she will see a 'Like this Page' option at the top of the video:

 

You won't see this on any Page you already 'Like' or are an Admin of.  It's only visible to those who have yet to Like a Page. I 'un-Liked' the U.S. Army Safety Center Page to capture a screen shot of this viral feature, then promptly 're-Liked' the Page.

The bottom line:  anyone utilizing Facebook Pages for business or organizational purposes should be thinking about creating interesting video content for those Pages.  If that video is passed around, it will include an invitation for people to connect with your Pages.
